Part-time receptionist (not summer help)
Must be 18 or older; high school diploma or equivalent required. Must has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have solid computer experience including data entry and Microsoft Office products; previous office experience preferred. Work takes place during the hours of 11am to 6pm Tuesday – Friday. Saturdays are required, 10am to 4pm. Responsible for providing excellent customer service experience and processing applications in a timely fashion. This can be a fast-paced job and requires use of a multi-line phone and basic office equipment. Must be able to handle stressful situations and potential conflict. Part-time kennel cleaners (not summer help)
Must be 18 or older; high school diploma or equivalent required. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. Preferred Calhoun County or City of Battle Creek resident. The primary responsibilities of this position are: perform daily sanitation of the kennels and cattery areas according to HSSCM policies and procedures (scrubbing, mopping, scooping feces/cleaning litterboxes, laundry and dishes). Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stay on task to complete daily routines, work with a variety of cleaning agents, be able to lift and carry 50 pounds for up to 100 feet, bend, reach, control large dogs on leash, be around cats and dogs both, and handle possible fractious animals.
